Fully Furnished 112-Man Dormitory

Need: Our client approached us with comprehensive plans and specifications for a high-quality modular dormitory they needed built, furnished, and delivered to northern Alberta. The buildings consisted of 24 modules, three stories high (29’ x 246’, total 16,128 square feet).

Solution: Conquest met challenging budget and timeline limitations, while fully complying with the detailed plans and specifications (and meeting all requirements of the Alberta building code). Exterior details included EPDM roofing, horizontal metal fascia, and vertical metal siding. Prominent features included built-in furnishings in every room, a TV/games room, washrooms shared by every two dorm rooms, and a mechanical room to service the entire building with water and power (600 AMP main panel and 100 gallon hot water tanks). Interior finishes included vinyl-clad drywall and ceilings, pre-finished maple casings and cabinetry, and solid-core commercial doors. Furnishings supplied and installed by Conquest included beds, wardrobes, mattresses, televisions, and sofas.
