Need: Our client has been developing some 30 residential units in downtown St. Pierre. As the land was deemed unsuitable for conventional site-built homes (due to soil conditions as a former river bed) modular homes were the key.
Solution: Conquest designed and built 1000 to 1200 square foot homes specifically to meet the needs of an aging population (two-bedroom, two-bathroom, with special features such as covered front porches). Individual homes were moved onto concrete strip footings, and single-car garages were built on site. Exteriors were finished with vinyl siding and architectural fiberglass shingles. Interior finishes consist of painted drywall, maple cabinetry, and engineered wood floors.
Construction time: 42 days (typical)
Date of installation: 2005 (to present)
